Dragon Point Villa Wedding

Fallbrook Backyard Wedding 3888 East Mission Road

As a person who chose not to get married at a hotel or swanky wedding venue and instead opted for a rental property in wine country Temecula, I always feel a personal connection to those couples who also choose the backyard style wedding. Backyard weddings take a lot of work because every little detail needs to be taken care of by the bride and groom. The dance floor, chairs, decor, and every little thing you probably don’t notice at most weddings have to be brought in and it seriously takes a village to make it all come together. But I have to say in the end it is totally worth it because you can party beyond 10p.m. (when most wedding venues give you the boot) and you get to crash out right there at your venue. Not to mention, grub out hard late in the evening on some awesome leftovers!

Kristina and Mark found this really cool property on Airbnb and instantly fell in love with the location to be their wedding venue. The property was located off East Mission Road in Fallbrook, California (Dragon Point Villa) and had this really amazing view of the valley. The type of view that made you want to take your pants off and dance to the musical melodies of Prince…or something like that. The wedding day started with some getting ready photos before Kristina saw Mark for the first look. After the first look, we snapped some portraits then prepared for the wedding ceremony. We followed up the wedding ceremony with some family shots and some more portraits on the property before everyone celebrated one glass of wine at a time until they passed out. So yeah it was a pretty awesome little party in the hills of Fallbrook! Below are a handful of photos from Kristina and Mark’s Fallbrook backyard wedding in Fallbrook, California! Enjoy!

Oh and let me give a huge shout out to Courtney for connecting me with Kristina and Mark! Kristina saw the engagement photos at Horton Plaza of Courtney I photographed and she was kind enough to pass my information on to them. So THANK YOU Courtney for that! You rock!

My name is Ryan. nice to meet you.

Are you ready to enjoy some sunshine while consuming wine until the midnight hour and beyond? Of course you are! The truth is planning a destination wedding in Temecula (or any wedding for that matter) can be a stressful. So make sure you treat yourself (and your fiancée) kindly throughout the process. Enjoy it! And if you ever feel overwhelmed just pour yourself an adult beverage and visualize yourself dancing with friends and celebrating all evening long on your wedding day! Don’t forget to think about the R&R of your honeymoon either. Your wedding WILL be awesome because you are awesome. So let me focus on the Temecula wedding photography while you focus on the good times.
